Where to enjoy your time?

Kafec

The franchise brother of a café from Brno offers a huge palette of great waffles. And because of their rich menu you can enjoy a variety of sandwiches from homemade bread as well as tasty coffee during the whole day.

Kafo

Probably the smallest café with the most people per square in Zlín. Whole crowds rush in here not only to get some professionally prepared specialty coffee or to enjoy the interior. The real hype lies in the dazzling choice of vegan and non-vegan goodies provided by various micro suppliers from all over Zlín.

Melk

A very likeable café integrated into a small shop with healthy goodies in the rushed streets of industrial Svit.

Mr. Coffee

A genuinely friendly staff and freshly roasted coffee are intertwined here in this underground roastery. This is a combination you want to experience regurarly with all your senses.

Sklep 33

First things firts, when someone tells you to go to Loft, they mean Sklep 33. The dark literary vibe of the place makes it a hub for most Zlín hipsters. Apart from a little drop of alcohol, sometimes they are also served a taste of avant-garde culture in the form of slam poetry or underground music perfomances.

Pštros

Being one of the best-located bars in town, Pštros Coffee & Music bar offers an outdoor beer garden with a great view of the Zlín center. The cozy bar also support local artists by displaying and selling their artwork inside. A separate room featuring table football and Xbox console is available too.

Synot

Your last chance to have a beer at 4 a.m. in the morning. Go there only if you are lost or very drunk.

Plamínek

One of the weirdest yet very interesting pubs that offers some great setting by the fireplace. You can find an interesting mixture of regulars, who tend to be the most common sighting here and students who are not shy to enter either.

U Máců

When you sit down for “one” at U Máců, sooner or later you won’t be able to dodge discussion on the topic of where you can get the best pizza in Zlín. The best thing you can do is to order your own round pie directly from the stone oven.

Zelenáčova Šopa

Zlínský švec, made in nearby Malenovice, is on tap in this old-school wooden beer heaven. You don’t need to look at the drinks menu, because they traditionally offer eight different types of beer and that can make your head spin even without drinking. It’s very likely you might get some good Czech cultural experience out of this place.

Nový svět

A friendly place with strong environmental and social responsibility, full of art of local painters, filled with musicians or even actors, where travel discussions and workshops are held. Perfect place for reading a book in a cozy atmosphere.

Dílna

So you are not afraid to subject your precious insides to a genuine Czech diner classic that is hard to come by in decent restaurants. So you don’t dread the thought of meals such as poppy seed potato šulánky, sour lentil sauce or fried Gotha salami. So you are determined to taste the true essence of Czechness. Then just follow the blue line behind the theater, which will take you to Dílna.
